La Niverdière - Resilience 2019

From a hallowed parcel of 75-year-old vines, Resilience is the pinnacle of the estates production.  These tree-like plants in this jungle of a vineyard provide a tiny amount of fruit of the highest concentration and flavour, used to produce a layered, complex, and age-worthy wine.  Here we are happy to present the fourth vintage 2019. A challenging vintage, yet this is sure to go down as one of the greats. This wine is so immediate despite its density and its complexity. Dense fruit, but very floral, delicate, and soft with deep layers of black fruits and spices. Drinking incredibly now, though will reward those who can stash it away.
